Typically, dining room arm chairs are used at the head and end of the table. Wooden arm chairs are made from oak, solid beech and other hardwoods, often imported from Europe – finished in Walnut, Teak, Natural, Mahogany, and many others. The typical dining room table has four or six side chairs pushed up to it and an armchair at each end, but you can make your room more interesting by moving the armchairs elsewhere, perhaps next to a window or sideboard.
